Fountainhead 2014
exhibited as part of Home work Taranaki, Puke Ariki Museum
this neckpiece (now in the public collection of Puke Ariki) stems from a series of I call The last of the milk and honey, which deals with colonization deforestation and industrialization. This particular piece is about the economic drivers that effect our fertile pacific nation I use the symbol of the cornucopia to talk about how I think we as a society subconsciously relate to our natural resource.
