Handshake4 Process 9 – 29 march
at Toi Pōneke Gallery curated by Gabby Oconnor

the creative process for me is not linear, there is always quite a bit of to and fro a jostle of materials and ideas to reach resolve. Some of the best jewellery stays on my workbench for months unfinished, a bit feral… scrappy, full of potential and frustratingly hard to tame
focus is on materiality and a provincial vernacular.. themes around the land and resource and the feminine mingle within this work.
